Suarez shared his thoughts with SPORT, saying, “The Suarez at Liverpool in 2013 or 2014, when everything was going his way, was special.” He described it as a magical moment when everything clicks, and you enjoy every bit of it.
According to Suarez, his experience at Liverpool was vastly different from his time at Barcelona. At Liverpool, he had more space to run with the ball and showcase his skills, whereas at Barcelona, the playing style was more compact, with an emphasis on quick one-touch passes.
Suarez explained, “At Barcelona, I learned to play in a small space with one touch, something I didn’t do at Liverpool. At Liverpool, I had 40 meters to run on my own, and I had to dribble and fight for the ball.
“It’s clear that Suarez cherishes the memories of his time at Liverpool, and it’s no surprise why – those were some of the most memorable moments of his career.
